What Others are Saying...

My initial experience with HOME SHIELD was in a 3500 sqft two story new home in 2003. Since then I have had the product installed in a second 18 year old home in 2007 and have promoted this very fine and “a must” product a number of times to family, friends, and co-workers. The results of this product are measurable by any consumer.

I monitored my attic temperature in my 2003 two story for a year before coming across this product and met Bill at the Orlando Home Show in 2004. My attic temperatures were exceeding 140 degrees in July and August. I continued to monitor the temps after installation for an additional year. The difference was amazing and measurable both in the static attic temperature and my electric bill. Attic temps did not exceed 100 degrees with the product installed, even during the hottest days of summer.

In my now 21 year old home, I am able to monitor the actual roof temperature thanks to my hot water solar heater. The outer roof has reached temperatures of 154 degrees. My attic temperature has not exceeded 102 degrees over the past three years. I don’t record the temperatures any more but I do check the high and low temps regularly captured by the thermometers, I installed.

The objective to lowering the electrical bill is not done by adding insulation to your attic. This does nothing to prevent the cooling air temperature loss from the air out of the air handler to different parts of your ducted home. But rather, preventing the attic temperature from rising to those excessive levels of heat to start with. This is where the Home Shield product hits a homerun. HOME SHIELD installed ducts the radiant heat from your roof sheathing by taking advantage of the natural draft from the soffit vents to the roof vents at the peaks. HOME SHIELD is a brilliant product in my opinion and one that produces measurable results. If you’re like me and desire instant gratification, no maintenance, and can understand the result of heat transfer and in this case the loss of cool conditioned air in the ducting then HOME SHIELD is your product of choice.
